True Thinking

Build your child’s critical thinking skills with True Thinking. Our True Friends engage your child in activities that invite your child to explore spatial relationships, deduction, sequencing, patterning and other thinking concepts. Each activity requires your child to focus and to think logically in order to successfully complete the task.

Level 1

Your child will learn to differentiate between objects that are the same and different as well as objects that belong and do not belong. Your child will also learn to distinguish between objects that are longer/shorter; below/above; inside/outside and on/beneath. Colors, shapes and shadows will also be explored in Level 1 of True Thinking.

Level 2

Your child will be challenged to find many objects that are different or the same. The spatial and relational activities are more complex in Level 2. Your child will learn to differentiate between more/less, longest/shortest, largest/smallest, higher/lower, first/last. New activities require your child to find the missing half, the missing piece and the hidden object. Sequential thinking is also explored in Level 2.

Level 3

Your child’s growing logical thinking skills are further developed by increasing the level of difficulty of the various tasks previously introduced. New activities that require focus and higher levels of problem solving are introduced. Your child will learn to order events, solve puzzles, copy patterns, and change perspective. The concepts of relative speed, distance, and weight are also explored.

Level 4

Your child will be able to solve sophisticated critical thinking problems with confidence with the successful completion of Level 4. Concepts introduced in previous levels are presented in advance form. Challenging exercises require your child to complete patterns, find differences, sequence events, find component parts, match elements, and understand reflected images. The concepts of most, least, closest, farthest, and heaviest are also explored.
